Who IS CC THE PRODUCER?
Connor Collins is a Bay Area native turned Utah Tech football alum who discovered his true calling not on the field, but behind the mic. After earning a degree in History, he realized his passion wasn’t just playing sports—it was telling the stories that bring them to life. That spark launched him into the world of sports broadcasting.
In 2021, the former Division I offensive tackle walked into the Cherry Creek Media studios in St. George, Utah with a lifetime of sports knowledge, a love of history, and an uncanny ability to fire off stats at lightning speed. What began as a board‑ops internship quickly grew into a role coordinating on‑air content, producing ads, and researching trending sports topics to craft scripts and segments for hosts.
Within a year, Connor joined the Fan Sports Network, producing and contributing on‑air alongside Devin Dixon on The Drive. He co‑hosted a weekday morning sports show covering both local and national stories, provided play‑by‑play and color commentary for high school football, basketball, and baseball, and built a reputation—along with a nickname—as “CC the Producer,” known for connecting with athletes and coaches across generations.
Five years later, he’s now in Phoenix, producing for 98.7 FM Arizona Sports and ESPN 620, where he helps bring shows like Roc and Manuch with Jimmy B to life every weekday.
Whether he’s producing live radio, recording podcasts, creating digital content, or jumping on‑air, Connor is dedicated to delivering sports coverage that’s sharp, entertaining, and rooted in real moments. From audio editing to audience engagement to on‑air storytelling, he’s committed to creating content that resonates with fans and captures the heartbeat of the game.
